All dogs go through developmental periods at the start of their lives, but it is important to be aware that there are big differences between breeds. There are variations between the length of the periods, when they begin and how they are experienced. In addition, there may also be individual differences between sexes within a breed. So based on this, the phases cannot be seen as a kind of conclusion for all dogs, but only as a guiding model.
